The Department of Computer Science is pleased to announce the arrival of new teaching staff for the 2026 academic year. These additions strengthen the department’s capacity to deliver quality education across our HND and BTech programmes.
New Faculty Members
Three new lecturers have joined the CS department this semester, each bringing unique expertise and industry experience:
- Mr. Isaac Bansah — Specializing in web technologies and software engineering. Mr. Bansah brings practical experience from the private sector and will be teaching courses in Web Development and Software Engineering Principles.
- Mr. Tonny Adegboyega — With a background in network engineering and IT infrastructure, Mr. Adegboyega will handle courses in Computer Networks and System Administration.
- Mr. Wisdom Torgby — An expert in database systems and programming, Mr. Torgby will teach Database Management Systems and Programming with Java.
Strengthening the Department
Under the leadership of Dr. Joseph Dadzie (Head of Department), the CS department continues to grow to meet increasing student enrollment and evolving industry demands. The new lecturers will also contribute to final year project supervision and departmental research activities.
“We are excited to welcome our new colleagues,” said Dr. Dadzie. “Their diverse expertise will enrich our students’ learning experience and help us deliver programmes that meet both academic standards and industry needs.”
